I guess it serves me right for being too cheap to have a separate business line.  A woman who called yesterday evening to book a free CrossFit intro today was considerate enough to call and cancel but inconsiderate enough to do so at 1:30am this morning.  Once again denied a solid 8 hour sleep.  Woke groggy and tired.

Walked to work (- 1 pt).  Sunghee on set so she dropped Kaelin off.  When I finished coaching the morning classes, he and I took the bus to his school.  Then I walked back to work this time in sunshine (-2 pts).

My 5th day in a row without a rest day.  Today taking on CrossFit 2015 Regionals Event #3

100 GHD Sit Ups
150 Double Unders
50 SDHP @135#
100 Box Jump Overs @24″

Official time cap: 26 minutes.  My goal: under 60 minutes.  The GHD sit ups were the worst!  Still a bit sore from Monday’s 100 GHD sit ups.  Managed to get it done in just under an hour!  Every muscle fibre in my body vibrating with fatigue.  No glycogen left in any cell.  Realized I had not packed enough carbs to replenish myself from this level of activity.

And then along came Bruiser.  I don’t know how she knew but she brought with her a gigantic coconut, whey protein smoothie worth at least 8 points.  On any other day this drink would have sent me into insulin shock and death.  Today it saved me.

But wait!  She didn’t know I was doing that monster WOD.  So was she trying to help me or kill me?  Dolly suggested that knowing Bruiser it was probably a bit of both:)

Recharged I walked home in the glorious Vancouver sunshine (-2 pts).

Had about 30 minutes at home then off to pick up Kaelin (-2 pts).  45 minutes to eat and get a bit of work done and then we headed back up Dunbar to CrossFit (-2pts).

Coached the group classes then new Fundamentals Team Savage.

Sunghee stopped by on her way home just as we finished.  Grateful for the ride home.  Utterly spent.
